Welcome to Tween Ink

The Go-See Chronicles reveals the lives of tween girls making their way through the complex and captivating world of commercial bookings. These girls do the same things as other kids their age. They play soccer with their friends and they talk on their cell phone at the mall only when they do it, they are in front of cameras and lights on a set repeating the same action over and over until the director yells cut. It takes dozens of go-see’s (commercial lingo for an audition) to book even one spot but these girls are determined. Of course, just because they are professional kids doesn’t mean they don’t have the same problems other kids do. Their problems just unfold against the most exciting backdrop in the world where overnight you can go from just another girl in the waiting room at a go-see to having your face appear larger than life during a commercial for your favorite television show.
